The Whiteville Worshipping Community in Whiteville, NC is a micro expression of Calabash Covenant Presbyterian (Calabash, NC) and is led by CLP2 Annelle Waldron.   We have met weekly on Sunday evenings since February of 2021.

Also, located in Whiteville, is the Covey Reserve micro expression of church which meets on Thursday afternoons weekly.  This group was formed in 2024.

Our purpose is to provide opportunities for “worship and fellowship” with other believers in Jesus Christ, and to provide a safe environment for folks who are not yet believers to learn more about Jesus.  At their request, the focus of both groups is Bible Study.

Additionally, our purpose is to reach others, like ourselves, who desire fellowship with other Christians as we grow in our faith and knowledge of Scripture, and to lead others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  We see ourselves as “disciples making disciples” for the kingdom of God.  Above all else, that is our purpose.

Our weekly gatherings begin with time for fellowship followed by prayer requests, praise reports, prayers and testimonies.  Each week we engage in Bible Study including a time for discussion and reflection on each week’s study focus.

All are welcome to join us on Sunday evenings at 6:30p.m. at 73 Greenwood Road, Whiteville, NC., or at Covey Reserve Apartment Complex on Thursdays at 3p.m.  The welcome mat is out for either location!
