WE GATHER TO WORSHIP AND CONFESS
PRELUDE “Praise the Lord with Drums and Cymbals” Sigfrid Karg-Elert
WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS Pastor Dane
INTROIT “Seek Ye First”
*CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: When the Pharisees and scribes grumbled against Jesus for receiving sinners, he told them this parable: “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?
People: And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Leader: And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.
All: Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
*HYMN “10,000 Reasons”
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Merciful God, I have caused grief and have carried sorrows. I have made transgressions, and I have committed iniquities. Jesus, you were wounded for my healing and forgiveness. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help me to know you and experience your forgiveness. Cleanse and sanctify me by your grace and for your glory.
SILENT PRAYERS
ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Hear the Good News! “Surely, he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. Upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed,” (Is. 53:4-5). Know that by grace through faith, you are forgiven in Jesus Christ.

If you donate online, you can follow your box and find out the country your box will be delivered with the message of Christ’s love.
If you are unable to fill a shoebox but still want to participate in this mission project, you may write a check payable to CCPC with Operation Christmas Child (OCC) on the subject line and someone will do the shopping for you.
Please return the filled boxes on Sunday, November 3, 10, or 17th. Shoeboxes will be delivered to the collection center in Shallotte on November 18th. CCPC filled 84 shoeboxes last year and we have a goal of 100 boxes this year. Please help share the message of Jesus Christ to children around the globe.
