Spotlight On Mission November 2024

GLOBAL MISSION SPOTLIGHT

OPERATION CHISTMAS CHILD

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the good news of Jesus Christ. Operation Christmas Child is not intended as a solution for meeting physical needs, but rather a strategy for the local church to meet spiritual needs of children in their communities. The unexpected gift delights and sparks hope in the life of a child as they hear of Jesus’ love for them. CCPC will be distributing preprinted shoeboxes on October 27, and November 3. Please include a check for $10.00 made out to Samaritan’s Purse to cover postage and handling. You can also pay the $10.00 online and choose to follow your box and find out the country your box will be delivered with the message of Christ’s love. If you are unable to fill a shoebox but still want to participate in this mission project, you may write a check to CCPC with Operation Christmas Child on the subject line and someone will do the shopping for you. Filled shoeboxes will be collected on November 3, 10 and 17, 2024. Thank you for your support.
